Kompong Thom is a perfect stopover town between Phnom Penh and Siem Riep. The main features include the double bridge crossing the Sen River and the gaudy Wat Komphong Thom. The nearby temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk is an impressive site to behold and is much less crowded than the temples of Angkor.
